CARSON CITY, NEV– 14 SEPTEMBER, 2018 – D.W. Morgan Company today announced it was the recipient of the Cisco 2018 Excellence in Sustainability award. Cisco unveiled the award winners at its 27th Annual Supplier Appreciation Event at the Santa Clara Convention Center in California.
This award recognizes Morgan for distinguishing themselves as visionariesand collaborators in the social and environmentalsustainabilityspace, including human rights, labor standards, responsible sourcing of materials and reducing environmental impact.
“Our Supplier Appreciation Awards give us an opportunity to recognize the exceptional technology, execution and success by the very best of our extended supply chain,” said John Kern, senior vice president, Supply Chain Operations, Cisco. “The theme for this year’s event, ‘Digital Disruption’ highlights our continued digitization journey, and the indispensable role our partner and supplier network play in enabling Cisco’s growth, innovation and customer experience.”
At the event, Cisco celebrated the collective achievements and contributions of its most strategic supply chain partners, and recognized how these strong, ongoing partnerships will continue to impact Cisco’s business.
